Job summary

Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Colleyville, TX is seeking a Coordinator of Middle School Youth Ministry (grades 6–8) to develop a comprehensive program guiding parish youth through evangelization and catechesis.

Working with the Pastor, Director of Formation, and Faith Formation Department, the coordinator will create engaging curricula, train volunteers, and coordinate events, retreats, and service opportunities in a faith-filled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or Youth Ministry.
• Knowledge and ability to share Catholic faith to youth.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with parents and children of all ages.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Middle Ministries program with weekly programming, small groups, retreats, and home study opportunities.
• Develop curriculum balancing relatability and depth for middle schoolers.
• Train Core Team in evangelization and discipleship.
• Coordinate with Faith Formation Department and parish events.
• Manage registrations and events using parish software and communications.
• Support OCIA-AC adapted for children and teens with volunteers.
