Job summary

Carney, Sandoe & Associates is seeking a Middle School Spanish Teacher to join an independent school in Tinton Falls, NJ, starting Fall 2026. The teacher will lead five Spanish courses across proficiency levels and develop engaging lessons that foster speaking and listening skills.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or Education (Master’s preferred), proven Spanish proficiency, 2–5 years of teaching experience, and a willingness to participate in school-wide

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish language, Education, or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach five Spanish courses across various proficiency levels for middle school students.
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs and levels.
• Teach listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish.
• Create opportunities for conversational practice and pronunciation improvement.
• Organize events to showcase language skills.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate in regular professional development to stay current in language education.
• Serve as an advisor to students to ensure success.
