Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Follow the scope and sequence of the instructional program as defined and approved by the Norwalk Board of Education.
• Set clear expectations and routines.
• Manage the classroom and individual student behavior to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Prepare lesson plans that achieve clear objectives and use appropriate techniques.
• Demonstrate strong content knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records and conduct parent conferences.
• Assess student learning continually and identify intervention areas.
• Inform parents of student progress through interim reports or conferences.
• Design instruction to meet diverse learners’ needs in various settings.
• Design and implement assessments to measure progress and refine curriculum.
