Clayton County Public Schools Mundy’s Mill Middle in Jonesboro, GA is seeking a dedicated Middle School Science teacher. You will instruct students, develop lessons, and assess progress in alignment with state standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher and Georgia T-4 to T-7 certification; 1+ year teaching experience is preferred. Applicants must meet residency/visa requirements and be able to manage classroom activities throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Georgia T-4 to T-7 certification and content area specialization as required by GaPSC.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for several hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Instructs middle school students in science using varied teaching methods.
• Assigns lessons and corrects homework; administers tests and informs parents of progress.
• Prepares course outlines and objectives according to curriculum guidelines.
• Conducts parent/teacher conferences to review progress and behavior.
• Participates in faculty meetings and teacher training workshops.
• All other duties as assigned to support the above services.
