Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in education or a related field.
• Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Secondary Education or approved alternative.

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively; follow state and district guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teaches science across Earth, Life, Physical Science topics according to state standards.
• Instructs pupils in citizenship and core subjects per state regulations.
• Develops lesson plans and provides individualized/small group instruction.
• Translates lesson plans into engaging learning experiences.
• Establishes and maintains classroom behavior standards for a positive learning environment.
• Evaluates student progress and prepares reports.
• Communicates with parents about pupil progress and school program.
