Job summary

The teacher will plan and deliver instruction, assess student progress, and collaborate with administrators to support student achievement. Position is full‑time within CMS with responsibilities including classroom management, lesson planning, and data-driven instructional planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Valid NC Teaching certification or eligible for NC Teaching certification in assigned area
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of study in the assigned content area that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of assigned students
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods
• Prepare for classes assigned, and show written evidence of preparation upon request
