Job summary

The Leffell School in Hartsdale, NY is seeking a Middle School Hebrew Teacher to join the Hebrew Team. You will teach grades 6–8 for the coming school year at our Upper School campus in Hartsdale, NY, delivering dynamic lessons and promoting Hebrew culture across the school.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of Hebrew teaching experience, mastery of Hebrew instruction, and the ability to engage students with varied fluency levels while collaborating with colleagues to support student

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Hebrew teaching experience in a classroom.
• Experience with Bishvil HaIvrit curriculum is a bonus.
• Master’s degree in education preferred.
• Ability to support students who learn language with difficulty welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach grades 6–8 Hebrew for the coming school year.
• Model Hebrew usage in hallways and throughout the school.
• Promote Israeli culture and build strong relationships with students.
• Collaborate with Middle School team to create engaging lessons.
