Qualifications

• Active Tennessee licensure and endorsement matching subject area & grade band.
• Commitment to working with educationally underserved students.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.
• Masters in education/content area preferred.
• Experience in urban school and/or charter network preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a rigorous EL A curriculum aligned to the school’s framework.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
• Employ diverse instructional techniques and materials to meet student needs.
• Use diagnostics to identify learning strengths/needs and tailor interventions.
• Maintain records and communicate with families; adhere to policies.
• Participate in professional development and perform other duties as assigned.
