ADM Community School District is seeking a dynamic Basketball Coach to support our Middle School program. The role focuses on teaching fundamentals, running engaging practices, and guiding players to grow and compete with sportsmanship.

You will develop game strategies, oversee team logistics, and ensure eligibility paperwork while adhering to district policies. The position requires collaboration with athletic staff and administration to foster a positive, safe athletic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Demonstrated aptitude for coaching and instruction.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well with staff, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Lead middle school basketball practices and teach fundamental skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, plays, rebounding, defense).
• Plan structured practices with skill-tailored drills and emphasize proper mechanics to prevent injuries and promote growth.
• Develop appropriate game strategies for middle school competition and manage game day preparations.
• Ensure eligibility paperwork is completed for each athlete and enforce school policies (Good Conduct, Academic Eligibility, Daily Attendance).
• Oversee team logistics including equipment, transportation requests, and facility reservations; perform other duties as assigned by administrators.
