Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Teaching certification valid for the state.
• 1–3 years of successful teaching experience (Student Teaching may count).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of learning theory, motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques.
• Criminal and employment background check clearance.
• Commitment to CSUSA values and school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of instruction aligned with CSUSA philosophy and course guidelines.
• Create and maintain effective lesson plans maximizing learning time.
• Present subject matter clearly and provide real-world examples.
• Maintain accurate student records and assess progress regularly.
• Coordinate class field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Foster positive relations with students, staff, and parents.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and materials selection.
