Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Roanoke is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple bulk accounts, and follow planograms and quality guidelines. You will move products from the backroom to displays, adjust shelves, and support promotions by collaborating with store personnel to maximize visibility and sales.

The role requires effective communication, a valid in-state driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while lifting up

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively)
• Able to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision
• Strong critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs
• Moves product from backroom to display area
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials and rotates products on shelves
• Maintains back room organization by stacking, arranging products and returning outdated items
• Maintains relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and promotions
