Job summary

HCI is seeking a Medical Assisting Instructor to deliver up-to-date instruction to medical assisting students in a dynamic, engaging way. The role includes classroom and lab teaching, online delivery, and active involvement in student retention and program development.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate degree in health sciences, be certified as a CMA/CCMA/RMA, and have at least three years of practical experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an earned Associate's degree with a major in health sciences from an accredited program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related practical work experience in the subject taught per ACCSC.
• Current certification as Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RMA) and active status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course plans and materials.
• Deliver lectures and labs to students.
• Foster student engagement and provide active feedback.
• Maintain accurate grade books and attendance records.
• Deliver online and in-person instruction as required.
• Participate in accreditation activities and committee work.
