Gritman Medical Center, Inc. in Moscow, ID seeks a Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site Specialty Clinic Float. You’ll support intake, exams, vaccines, injections, CLIA lab tests, and documentation in the EHR while coordinating with providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have Basic Life Support certification, medical office experience preferred, and can work under supervision as part of a mission-driven care team.

Formación

• No formal education required; medical office experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Administer injections and vaccines under provider supervision only.
• Cannot independently assess patients or develop nursing care plans.
• Tasks performed under delegation from a licensed provider or nurse.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare exam rooms and assist patients with intake and age/gender-appropriate assessments.
• Document patient intake and care in the EHR.
• Support provider documentation and may act as medical scribe when appropriate.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab testing and venipuncture.
• Assist during exams and administer injections and vaccines.
• Handle medication prior authorizations and manage supplies.
