Cal Poly Pomona seeks a Lecturer AY in Mechanical Engineering to teach courses across the undergraduate and graduate levels in Solid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Control. The temporary faculty pool is open, with terms aligning to Fall, Spring, and possibly Summer sessions.

Applicants should hold a Master's in Mechanical Engineering (PhD preferred) and demonstrate effective teaching and collegial collaboration. The appointment is temporary, typically one semester, with possible extensions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in engineering.
• Preferred relevant professional experience.

Responsabilités

• Teach assigned division courses in the department's curriculum; hold weekly office hours commensurate with the teaching unit load; respond to student inquiries related to course registration, homework assignments, exam preparation, and grading.
• Teaching assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses.
