Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching license in Mathematics for middle/high school grade bands.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics content and instructional best practices.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to equity, student achievement, and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administers mathematics curriculum aligned to Ohio Learning Standards.
• Promote a safe classroom environment for individualized and small group instruction.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and translate plans into learning experiences.
• Teach mathematics concepts including algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
• Conduct ongoing assessment and modify instruction to fit student needs, including for special needs.
• Maintain records for grading, attendance, and reporting and participate in PLCs and meetings.
• Encourage parental involvement and maintain communication with students and parents.
• Engage in continuous professional growth through workshops and seminars.
