Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a forklift operator at our South Dakota facility to support production and warehousing operations. You will handle and transport materials, operate forklifts, perform cycle counts, and complete related paperwork in a safe, compliant environment.

The role requires basic education with manufacturing exposure; training on equipment and safety procedures is provided. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Eighth grade education is required.
• High school education with at least three months of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs handling and transporting duties as outlined in the process instructions for the assigned area.
• Changes propane tanks, charges and changes batteries on forklift trucks as required.
• Removes scrap materials from the department as required.
• Performs cycle counting as required.
• Completes paperwork including material transfers, receiving, scrap and time reports, daily forklift inspection forms, and others.
• Operates forklift, hand pallet truck, yard truck, floor sweeper and other equipment as required.
