Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC in Selma, Alabama is seeking a Material Handler to support Receiving, Manufacturing and Shipping operations. You will read production schedules and customer orders to determine items to move, and ensure inventory accuracy across centers.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, loading, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining safety. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in material handling preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify inventory accuracy against orders.
• Pick, pack and prepare product for loading.
• Operate material handling equipment safely.
• Unload/Load trucks and transfer parts between receiving and shipping.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 5S principles.
• Assist supervisor with locating parts and documenting movements.
