The role requires 2+ years of anchor and 2+ years of reporting experience, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver compelling content for viewers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of anchor experience required.
• 2+ years of reporting experience required.
• Will write and edit scripts for broadcasts.
• Must be able to perform under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scripted and ad-lib material with professionalism, personality, and purpose.
• Work with reporters and producers in newscast production.
• Plan, gather and assemble stories on day-of news or special projects.
• Develop exclusive content with enterprise angles.
• Build a network of sources for breaking stories.
• Appear at public events on behalf of the station.
• Contribute pictures, video, and text to mobile platforms.
• Meet deadlines across multiple stories and projects.
