Avenue Live, a subsidiary of US HealthConnect, is hiring a Live/Virtual Event AV Technician in Columbus, OH to support live, hybrid, and virtual events. You will prepare, test, operate, and troubleshoot audio, video, lighting, and related AV systems on-site at our warehouse and at event locations.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, willingness to travel 30–50% (domestic, with possible international trips), and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Qualifications

• Background or experience in audiovisual technology, technical theater, event production, audio, video, lighting, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of electronics, networking, audiovisual systems.
• Ability to travel 30–50% of the time, including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scan, pack, and organize audiovisual equipment according to pull sheets.
• Set up, test, operate, and break down audio, video, lighting, and related equipment.
• Install and configure AV systems for live, hybrid, and virtual events.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve equipment issues during events.
• Provide on-site technical support throughout event setup, execution, and breakdown.
