Job summary

Greenawalt Hospitality is seeking dependable, outgoing Event Bartenders to join our growing team in Alabama. You will support beverage operations at live events, including concerts, festivals, and weddings, delivering service with professionalism and teamwork.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving drinks, maintaining clean stations, and helping with setup and breakdown. A ServSafe Alcohol Certification is preferred; 21+ years old and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable event schedules.
• Dependable transportation to assigned event locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working efficiently in busy, high-energy environments.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Consistent access to a phone, text messaging, and email for scheduling and event communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Check guest identification and follow responsible alcohol-service practices.
• Maintain consistent beverage quality and professional presentation.
• Take and fulfill guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Keep the service area clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the event.
• Help prepare beverage stations before guests arrive.
• Stock products, ice, mixers, garnishes, cups, and other necessary supplies.
• Monitor supplies throughout service and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist with maintaining an efficient and organized bar or beverage station.
• Participate in closing procedures, cleanup, equipment breakdown, and storage following each event.
• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional beverage service.
• Help create an enjoyable and positive atmosphere in event hospitality areas.
• Respond to questions about beverage selections, menus, and available services.
• Address guest concerns respectfully and involve a supervisor when additional assistance is needed.
• Represent Greenawalt Hospitality positively while interacting with guests, clients, venue personnel, and coworkers.
• Coordinate with Bar Leads, Event Managers, and other event staff throughout each deployment.
• Assist with general event setup and teardown when operationally necessary.
• Adjust to changes in event schedules, guest volume, staffing, and service requirements.
• Help the team successfully deliver beverage and hospitality services at a variety of event types.
• Be willing to assist outside the beverage station when additional event support is needed.
• Complete required company orientation, training, and onboarding.
• Obtain and maintain ServSafe Alcohol Certification through the company.
• Follow applicable alcohol laws, venue rules, company procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach at every event.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accountability while representing the company.
