Job summary

Activate is seeking a dynamic Game Facilitator for the Port Reading, NJ area. This role keeps you on the move in a fast-paced entertainment setting, guiding groups through live-action gaming experiences and ensuring a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities include checking in customers, handling payments and reservations, briefing groups, and maintaining and troubleshooting game rooms and equipment as needed. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations calmly and efficiently.
• Energetic, friendly, and outgoing, with the ability to command attention in a crowd.
• Strong customer service orientation with commitment to exceptional customer experience.
• Willingness to work various shifts starting as early as 9 am and ending as late as 1 am.
• Some troubleshooting and technical ability applicable to equipment repair/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Check customers in, take payments, and make reservations.
• Brief new groups prior to the start of the game.
• Monitor customers in the gaming area and provide explanations as needed.
• Participate with customers in active games to ensure an excellent experience.
• Maintain rooms by cleaning, painting, and any required maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and perform minor repairs in case of Malfunction.
