Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Coudersport is seeking an experienced Liquor Store General Manager 1A to lead store operations. You will oversee daily activities, develop a high-performing team, and drive sales performance while maintaining a premier customer experience.

As General Manager, you will manage cash handling, inventory, and reporting, ensure compliance with state policies, and coordinate with store leadership to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• One year as Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title) or
• Two years as Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title) or
• One year of lead retail sales work.

Responsibilities

• Direct store operations to meet customer service standards and business goals
• Guide and support employees while monitoring work quality and delegating tasks
• Promote sales through product handling, inventory stocking, and customer assistance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for customers and staff
• Monitor stock levels and arrange merchandise to support a strong shopping experience
• Manage cash processes and maintain accurate sales and reporting records
