The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Liquor Control Board is hiring a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 for the Union Deposit Road store in Harrisburg. You will lead a team, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service while partnering with the General Manager to uphold standards.

This full-time role requires experience in retail leadership or liquor store operations, residency in PA, and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience includes one year as Liquor Store Clerk 2 or two years as Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk, or one year of lead retail sales work.

Responsibilities

• Store Oversight: Supervise daily operations and compliance with store policies and laws related to alcohol sales.
• Team Leadership: Guide, train, and motivate staff; assign tasks and review work.
• Customer Service: Address questions, resolve issues, and maintain a positive shopping experience.
• Operational Assistance: Help the General Manager with merchandise management, cash accounting, and record maintenance.
• Inventory Management: Track stock levels, anticipate store needs, and maintain product displays.
• Store Readiness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
