Job summary

Nexstar Media Group's KSN in Wichita is seeking a dynamic on-air host/video producer for Good Day Kansas. You will develop show themes, guide guests, conduct research and interviews for both in-studio and on-location shoots, and craft engaging stories.

You must have at least two years of experience with pre-produced television content, on-air interviewing, writing, storytelling, videography, non-linear editing and content generation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field.
• Minimum two years of TV experience and on-air interviewing.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication.
• Strong editorial judgment and storytelling ability.
• Ability to write, shoot, and edit compelling segments.

Responsibilities

• Develop show themes and content for Good Day Kansas.
• Guide guests through appearances; conduct research and interviews.
• Produce for in-studio and on-location shoots; shoot and edit footage.
• Promote stories on broadcast and social media to drive ratings.
• Collaborate with News, Sales, Creative Services, and Master Control.
