Job summary

Edustaff seeks a substitute teacher to provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher. You will implement lesson plans, maintain routines, and support a safe, productive learning environment while communicating with school staff.

Essential duties include reporting to the office, following plans, supervising students, and documenting attendance and assignments. Compliance with fingerprinting and district policies is required.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management required.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain routines.
• Background checks and fingerprinting as per MI school employment.

Responsibilities

• Report to the school office on time and obtain materials.
• Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures as provided.
• Provide instruction and supervise students to support a safe learning environment.
• Maintain accurate notes on attendance and assignments.
• Communicate with school personnel as directed by administration.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal.
