Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid Oregon teaching license or Restricted Substitute Teaching License from TSPC.
• Knowledge of child growth and development at each level of instruction.
• Ability to adapt to multiple assignments within a day.

Responsibilities

• Take attendance for assigned classes each day or teaching period.
• Explain homework or assigned work for each class or teaching period.
• Motivate students to accomplish stated objectives.
• Give clear directions and ask for student understanding.
• Manage classroom behaviors by establishing a positive rapport and high expectations.
• Provide and implement learning activities and objectives for each student.
• Perform duties commensurate with the regular teacher’s schedule.
• Other duties as assigned to meet student needs.
