Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a qualified teacher to plan, prepare and deliver lessons, and to monitor student progress using diverse instructional materials and technology. You will maintain records and communicate with parents and staff, while participating in district and parent meetings.

Required is Illinois State teaching certification or an equivalent out-of-state certificate, and completion of an approved preparation program with relevant coursework and testing

Qualifications

• Illinois State certification in teaching or equivalent out-of-state certificate.
• Completion of a state-approved teacher preparation program or equivalent.
• Successful completion of coursework and testing requirements per Illinois statutes and rules.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Use technology to support differentiated instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required reports.
• Communicate progress and needs to students, colleagues and parents.
• Participate in school and district meetings and parent communications.
