Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess at least an Associate's Degree or 48 college hours.
• Alternatively complete Pathways to TA I (48 hours) and TA Training II (48 hours).
• Must maintain appropriate bus driver certification and NC CDL as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher by monitoring and assisting students in class and at lunch.
• Proctor tests and reinforce material as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain student safety and supervise during drills, assemblies, and field trips.
• Record attendance and keep classroom records and displays up to date.
• Support de-escalation and behavior management as needed.
