Job summary

Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, seeks an Associate to conduct in-store food and non-food demonstrations, learn products, prepare and serve samples, and present them professionally.

The role is part-time, up to 25 hours weekly, with emphasis on customer interaction, maintaining clean setup, and collaborating with store staff; salary is $17 per hour and employer provides equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Local Food handlers permit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepares and submits all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution.
