Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an in‑game Public Address Announcer for the Coachella Valley Lakers. The role will be the in‑arena voice for home games during the 2026‑2027 season, including playoffs, and will require delivering introductions, game information, and promotional reads with energy and precision.

The position runs for 24 home games from November 2026 through March 2027, with an hourly rate of $40.00.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional live sports announcing or hosting experience.
• Experience performing before large crowds in a sports or entertainment setting.
• Ability to script and improvise with strong vocal presence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in‑arena voice for G League Lakers home games.
• Deliver player introductions, lineups, in‑game announcements, partner and promotional reads, contests, game information, and other PA elements as assigned.
• Maintain an energetic, engaging, and professional presence throughout the game while adapting delivery to the pace and atmosphere of the event.
• Work closely with the Game Presentation, Game Entertainment, Production, and Game Operations teams to execute the in‑game presentation.
• Communicate and coordinate with the Game Director and Game Presentation team throughout each event.
• Follow all NBA, G League, and organizational rules, procedures, policies, and game presentation protocols.
• Attend game presentation meetings, rehearsals, training sessions, and other meetings as requested by management.
• Take direction and implement real‑time adjustments based on game flow, production needs, and management feedback.
• Assist with operational support and/or talent responsibilities across various production platforms, including digital, social media, community events, and other organizational initiatives as directed.
• Maintain a professional and positive presence while representing the G League Lakers and organizations in public, on social media, and during community or promotional appearances.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned to support organizational and league needs.
