Job summary

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking to establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Humanities. Appointments are temporary, non-tenure track, and will be made semester-by-semester for teaching various Humanities courses, either on campus or online, with remote options under certain conditions.

Qualified applicants will have a Master’s degree or significant field experience evidenced by a Letter of Expertise. This posting creates a pool to be contacted as needs arise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the field or significant field experience documented by a Letter of Expertise.
• Teaching experience at the college level is preferred for Humanities courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of Humanities courses; courses may be in person or online.
• Appointments are part-time and made semester-by-semester; workload determined by department need.
