Birch Agency seeks a passionate High School Math & Science Teacher for a Cleveland charter school for the 2026-2027 school year. You will develop engaging lessons aligned with Ohio standards and deliver algebra, geometry, biology, chemistry, and physics content.

Demonstrated classroom management, differentiated instruction, and student-centered teaching will help diverse learners succeed. Pay is based on experience with comprehensive benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching license or equivalent substitute license, or ability to renew license.
• Previous high school teaching experience preferred.
• Background in mathematics or science preferred.
• Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and effective secondary instructional practices preferred.
• Ability to teach both math and science is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver engaging math and science lessons aligned with Ohio academic standards.
• Teach algebra, geometry, statistics, and other high school math topics; biology, chemistry, physics, and general science as assigned.
• Create an inclusive, structured classroom environment that supports achievement.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Incorporate hands-on activities, technology, and real-world examples to reinforce learning.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects.
• Analyze data to address gaps and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with school leadership and other educators.
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with policies.
