Job summary

LINE Austin is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Bartender to join our hospitality team. You will greet guests, craft beverages, and ensure an engaging, high-standard bar experience in a vibrant hotel setting.

Under the LINE brand, you will collaborate with service staff, maintain bar stock, handle POS transactions, and uphold safety and service guidelines while delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Three years related experience in hospitality or service preferred.
• Strong communication skills and guest-service orientation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact.
• Establish and maintain good communication with colleagues and departments.
• Provide guests with an enjoyable experience aligned with the company’s standards.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of service sequence and POS usage.
• Stock bar areas with beverages, glassware, and condiments.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
• Develop knowledge of drinks, daily specials, and what is not available.
• Ensure proper pouring, mixing, and beverages preparation.
• Keep bar area neat, clean, and stocked; manage opening/closing duties.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures and policies.
• Take ownership of guest service issues and resolve them promptly.
• Handle cash transactions and distribute gratuity appropriately.
• Assist coworkers to ensure a great environment for guests and staff.
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings as requested.
