Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in San Antonio, TX is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to perform assessments and reassessments of rehabilitation needs and to plan, implement, and supervise therapeutic programs that improve communication and swallowing abilities.

The ST will collaborate with Rehab Director, educate patients and families, document progress, and participate in care conferences and quality improvement activities, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed by the State of Texas as a Speech-Language-Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA).
• One year of experience in home health Speech-Language Pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and reassessments of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Plan, implement, and supervise individualized therapy programs to restore or improve communication and swallowing.
• Coordinate with Rehab Director to integrate therapy into the plan of care.
• Guide and teach patients and families in swallowing and communication techniques.
• Document treatment progress and changes in patient status.
• Participate in patient case conferences and quality assurance programs.
