Atlantic City Public Schools is seeking a qualified English teacher for a 10-month assignment at Atlantic City High School. The educator will plan and deliver instruction aligned with state standards and foster an effective classroom environment.

Requirements include an NJ instructional certificate for English K-12 or eligibility for certification, plus completion of the required pre-professional hours and adherence to district policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold NJ English teaching certificate or eligible for certification.
• Completion of the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by NJDOE.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject and effective teaching methods.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal status.
