Job summary

Red Bank Catholic High School seeks a long-term, full-time substitute English teacher for January through June 2024. The successful candidate will be highly organized, flexible, and able to collaborate with colleagues while delivering engaging lessons.

They should have a passion for English, strong literature knowledge, and the ability to implement effective classroom management. NJ teaching certification is required; a Master’s degree is preferred but not required.

They should possess a passion for English and strong content knowledge of a variety of literature and literary genres. In addition to implementing effective classroom management strategies, candidates must be able to engage students with innovative lesson plans and develop students’ writing, vocabulary, and reading skills.

The successful candidate will teach 9th and 10th grade students. All applicants should possess high school teaching experience and NJ teaching certification. A Master’s degree is preferred but not required for this substitute position.
