Job summary

This exempt, full-time role reports to the campus principal and requires a Bachelor's degree and Texas teaching certification. You will plan lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff to support diverse learners at Assigned Campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the curriculum requirements and show written evidence of preparation.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for different learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials that address diverse learning needs.
• Conduct assessments and use results to plan instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
