Job summary

Equinox La Costa is hiring Main Studio Instructors across strength, cardio, dance, and more. You will deliver high-energy workouts, adapt to participant needs, and maintain class flow with punctual start and end times.

Qualified candidates hold a current Group Fitness Certification (ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM) or a related degree, CPR/AED, and stand ready to learn and grow within a dynamic team at Equinox.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM are acceptable) or a related degree.
• Must possess and maintain CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology and ACSM guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class.
• Adhere to the class description and adjust intensity for participants as needed.
• Monitor exercise intensity throughout the class duration.
• Ensure classes start and finish on time.
• Teach classes regularly and minimize substitutions.
• Communicate feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and substitutions with the Group Fitness Manager.
