Job summary

Power Wellness is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor for its Thibodaux Regional Fitness Center. The role involves teaching scheduled group classes, ensuring safety, and delivering an enjoyable experience for members and guests.

Qualified candidates will hold a group exercise instructor certification and CPR/AED. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with at least two years of experience in diverse group classes and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Group exercise instructor certification required; NCCA accreditation preferred.
• CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness).
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching a variety of group exercise styles and populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach Group Exercise classes as scheduled with modifications for various fitness levels.
• Maintain safety and ensure proper setup, on-time start, and post-class cleanup.
• Provide a fun, engaging experience and promote member safety and well-being.
• Report equipment needs to supervisor and manage class participation records.
