Covenant Health's Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor in the Wellness Center. The role involves teaching a variety of group fitness classes using professionally approved techniques and maintaining a safe, welcoming studio environment.

This PRN/OCC, day shift position requires reliability, engagement with members, and participation in special events and activities to support the wellness program.

Responsibilities

• Teaches scheduled classes, which includes arriving 15 minutes prior to class and staying 15 minutes after.
• Maintains general appearance of the aerobics studio, facilities, and equipment (stereos, weights, steps, jump ropes, etc.).
• If scheduling changes are necessary, notifies the department leader as soon as possible to find a substitute for the class.
• Maintains a safe classroom environment.
• Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
