Job summary

National Fitness in Sevierville, TN seeks an Instructor or Coach to lead group fitness and recreational programs for all ages, both live and virtual. You will motivate members, monitor progress, and deliver engaging, safe workouts with clear cues and modifications.

Requirements include CPR certification or ability to certify within 60 days and a national or format-specific certification. Evening/weekend availability, strong communication, and a teamwork mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• National certification or format-specific training to teach classes (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.).
• For sports clinics, relevant national certifications to teach paid programming.

Responsibilities

• Motivate members to join group fitness classes and programs.
• Promote club events and engage members via social channels.
• Provide safe instruction with proper form and modifications.
• Lead live or virtual classes and adapt to all ages.
• Collaborate to build a welcoming, inclusive club atmosphere.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness.
