Job summary

Caroline Family YMCA in Denton, MD is seeking a Part Time Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging group classes for members. You will create a safe, enjoyable environment and promote wellness in line with YMCA policies and procedures.

Required certifications include CPR, First Aid, AED, and national group fitness credentials (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise. YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• National certification in group fitness instruction (ACE/NETA/AFAA/NASM) or YMCA equivalent.
• YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Certifications in areas of expertise help tailor classes.
• At least 1 year of group wellness instruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities
