Job summary
City Fitness is seeking high-energy Studio Fitness Instructors for Hoboken to lead engaging group workouts across multiple formats. You will create an inclusive studio atmosphere, demonstrate proper technique, and build a strong class community while delivering the premium City Fitness experience.
Applicants must be 18+, hold a nationally recognized Group Exercise Certification and CPR certification, and have experience teaching group fitness.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must hold a current, nationally recognized certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NCSA) or equivalent
- Must hold a current, nationally recognized CPR certification
- Prior experience in instructing group fitness classes
- Ability to teach multiple formats - Preferred
- Physical ability to promote fitness and complete the workout
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, engaging, and results-driven group fitness classes
- Create a motivating and inclusive studio environment
- Demonstrate exercises with proper technique and modifications
- Connect with members and build a strong class community
