Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• Must provide verifiable proof of GXI certification for formats to be instructed.
• CPR/AED certification and basic first-aid training are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes in a pre-arranged format and ensure safety.
• Assess first-timers and tailor instruction to fitness level.
• Maintain clear instructions, appropriate volume and motivating environment.
• Monitor form and offer modifications for all fitness levels.
• Set up and store equipment, music, and microphone; promote the program.
