Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Massachusetts seeks a high-energy Fitness Coach to lead up to 36 members through dynamic, science-backed sessions. You will motivate participants across fitness levels, maintain safety, and support studio operations and attendance efforts.

This role requires strong coaching, time management, and clear communication. Qualified candidates have an accredited certification, CPR/AED, and at least 1 year in training or group fitness.

Qualifications

• Current nationally accredited fitness certification – Required.
• Current CPR/AED Certification – Required.
• 1+ years of experience in personal training and/or group fitness instruction – Preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field – Preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be physically capable of demonstrating all exercises and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Orangetheory group workouts for up to 36 participants, delivering high-energy sessions.
• Provide real-time exercise corrections and modifications to ensure safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio floor.
• Help build class attendance and member retention through motivation and support.
• Represent Orangetheory at marketing events and initiatives.
• Stay current with programming and attend monthly meetings and continuing education.
