Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in exercise science or related field or 4–5 years of experience preferred.
• Must hold a current group exercise certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NETA, or AFAA).
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to build rapport with instructors and members.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about motivating others in fitness.

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes for participants of varying fitness levels.
• Provide clear guidance on exercises, form, safety, and technique.
• Motivate and inspire participants to reach their fitness goals.
• Monitor safety, offer modifications, and prevent injuries.
• Engage with members and be accessible for questions.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Stay updated on fitness trends and center offerings.
• Adhere to policies and emergency procedures.
• Maintain certifications up to date and compliant with standards.
• Assist with facility maintenance and cleanliness.
