Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC, operating Crunch Fitness franchises, is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) to lead dynamic group classes at our Fort Wayne club. You will energize members, demonstrate proper form, and uphold Crunch’s No Judgments philosophy while promoting related fitness programs.

We welcome applicants who can teach various formats, maintain certifications, and engage guests with a high-energy, supportive approach that aligns with our brand and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred). Valid Yoga or Pilates certifications are acceptable.
• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• To be eligible for employment at Fitness Ventures LLC applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and provide documentation for e-Verification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct a variety of group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the training rooms.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.
• Always maintain professional disposition.
• Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs
• Attend all required club/team meetings.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
