Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Staff Nurse.
• 1 year recent experience in Labor & Delivery or KP training.
• Active California RN license, BLS, NRP; ACLS may be required in some units.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment/data collection focusing on various patient statuses.
• Formulate goal-directed plans of care.
• Implement care consistently and thoroughly.
• Establish patient care priorities based on needs and available resources.
• Identify and address patient/family learning needs.
• Demonstrate awareness of patient/family rights and cultural beliefs.
• Provide and coordinate care for patients and populations.
• Establish effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members.
• Participate in staff development activities for unit and department personnel.
