Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness is seeking high-energy Fitness Coaches to lead science-backed group workouts and motivate members across the studio.

As a coach, you’ll manage up to 36 participants per class, ensure safety with real-time corrections, maintain a clean studio, and contribute to class attendance and member retention through professional support and engagement.

Familiarity with Orangetheory programming and ongoing education is expected, with opportunities to attend monthly trainings and webinars.

Qualifications

• Current nationally accredited fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, AFAA, NFPT, NPTI, etc.)
• Current CPR/AED Certification – Required
• 1+ years of experience in personal training and/or group fitness instruction – Preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and functional movement
• Ability to lead, motivate, and adapt training to all fitness levels in real time
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field – Preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be physically capable of demonstrating all exercises and lifting up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead Orangetheory group workouts for up to 36 participants, delivering high-energy, engaging sessions that align with our methodology
• Provide real-time exercise corrections and modifications to ensure participant safety
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, especially the fitness floor
• Help build class attendance and member retention through motivation, personal connection, and professional support
• Represent Orangetheory at internal and external marketing events and initiatives
• Stay current with Orangetheory programming and attend all required monthly team meetings, webinars, and continuing education opportunities
