Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in North Central Alabama is hiring a fast, friendly Family Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care clinics. You will deliver patient-focused care across urgent and primary care services with opportunities for telemedicine and occupational medicine, leadership in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate holds FNP board certification, MSN or higher, and has experience with EMR and MS Office. A strong communicator who thrives in a team environment will excel in this role.

Qualifications

COVID vaccination required.
FNP Board Certification required.
MSN, or higher education required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
Suturing
Splinting
General Orthopedic evaluations/management
Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
General Dermatology
General eye problems
General EKG interpretations
Emergency management skills
General GYN expertise
Treating children of all ages
Occupational medicine
Telemedicine
